COMMISSION CONCLUDES: THERE WAS NO QUORUM TO APPROVE NEW PARLIAMENT MEMBERS ON JANUARY THE 4TH
WILLEMSTAD — There was no quorum during the approval of the new seven parliament members during the Parliament meeting on January the 4th 2017.
The commission also concludes that the petition of Parliament member Gerrit Schotte had to be honored, to see if during the meeting there were sufficient members present, so the meeting could have continue. Furthermore the commission noted that Davelaar repeatedly didn’t gave attention to the petition of a member of Parliament.
From an international source on this kind of cases, Voting on robert’s Rule of Orden, the commission concludes that when during a meeting a member asks for “roll call”, at all times you must do this.
This means the President of Parliament consciously didn’t told the true to the Governor, according to the report of commission Wiel.
