CHATA WITH WAKE-UP CALL CAMPAIGN “ASINA NO”
WILLEMSTAD — Chata recently started with a “wake-up call” campaign, “Asina Nò” for the whole community, because a positive development of the tourism industry is the responsibility of everyone.
The campaign is an awareness on actions which will harm the tourism industry. To have development and positive results in the industry, we have to do it together. Curaçao with it’s tourism product has big potentials.
According to Miles Mercera, President and CEO of CHATA, a video placed on social media got a lot of reactions and views. This gives hope to CHATA the message will reach to all that are causing harm to the Curaçao tourism industry.
The campaign “Asina Nò’ must be an inspiration to the whole community to be more kind and polite. All stakeholders must be compromised to do the same. Tourist must have a nice and unforgettable experience on the island. If the tourism industry really has an impact on the economy, than the government must put tourism on their priority list and also inject more funds for the industry, according toe Miles Mercera.
